Saskatoon, SK –Early registration is now open for CropSphere 2014, Saskatchewan’s newest agricultural conference. Registration is available online, as well as by phone, email, or fax.
Organizers are expecting more than 1,000 to attend the event, which will take place January 14 and 15, 2014, at TCU Place in Saskatoon during Crop Production Week. Registering early allows participants to ensure they get a spot, as well as save $50 off the event price. Early registrants also have the option to get a discount on a second registration purchased at the same time.
As an added incentive to register early, anyone who registers before October 31st will be entered to win a $150 gift card for the Keg.
“I like the idea of attending one conference with a lot of high-level speakers that touches on several different crops,” said Gregor Beck, who grows flax, wheat and canola on his farm near Rouleau, SK.
Six different commodity groups have joined together to present the event. CropSphere 2014 is a production of Saskatchewan Canola Development Commission (SaskCanola), Saskatchewan Flax Development Commission (SaskFlax), Saskatchewan Oat Development Commission, Saskatchewan Pulse Growers (SPG), the Saskatchewan Wheat Development Commission, and the Saskatchewan Barley Development Commission. The conference will feature sessions on market outlook, research, and agronomy, along with crop-specific sessions selected by each host group.
